  • Equipment does not support the service



    You have to watch out with BrightHouse, they will sell you internet that is supposed to increase your speed (they have several tiers) and then not supply you with the DOCSIS 3.0 modem necessary to properly utilize it. I am embarrassed at myself for taking so long to notice that they were cheating me, but I am appalled at how many tech support agents I have spoken with who had ample opportunity to tell me what was wrong and said nothing.   • Rip off



    I normally do not complain unless something is so horrible that I simply cannot stand the service I received. The people who came into my apartment to set up my internet were really nice. However, when it came down to the actual service that Brighthouse supplies, it was absolutely atrocious. Just this last month, i'm paying 60 bucks for less than 10 Mbps. That's utterly ridiculous. I'm scared to even ask for faster internet, I might have to pay more than a 100 dollars to even get close to the kind of service I could get from xfinity. Now, if you have lots of money and rarely...   • Terrible HD picture quality



    Long story short- Using 55' LED HDTV, HD DVR, and pay for best possible package. The HD channels mostly have little blocks and shdows on anything moving fast on the screen. Regular SD channels do not have this issue. Called support several times and had many resets and reboots leading nowhere. Had Tech sent out and replaced DVR and splitter, Issue not resolved. I was told by the tech "that I need to sit further away from my TV so I do not notice the bad picture quality."   • Bright House cable replacement



    For several months my husband would call Bright House on and off because TV channels would disappear or pixelate; they would reset the box and it worked for a while. Finally, we asked someone to come out and check the box which they did within a few days. He said we were losing signal and would need a new cable. That crew was supposed to come on Wed. between 10-12 and someone needed to be home so the phone, TV and internet could be checked when they were done.
