Slow Internet Speed/Bad Customer Svc - Brighthouse Standard Internet (10mbps)


I called BH last night to ask about my slow internet speed. I have standard which is supposed to give me up to 10mbps but have never reached it. I am consistently at 2 or 3. I was on the phone for a while with some pretty friendly technicians who scheduled a visit today between 2-4. I said, I work but if they can call I can be here in 5 minutes since I work across the street. They said, no problem and assured me that someone would call. Stop laughing out there. Your laughing cause you know they would not call, they didnt. So I call and they tell me that they dont have to call anymore. Its not a policy anymore. She said that they will put the note in the file, but they dont have to call if they dont want to. Really? Whats the point in even putting the note in then, its just gonna be a crap shoot. I said, I wanna speak with that guys field sup. She said that she didnt have that info. So I said well you see that the note was put in and that I was told that, so now what. We had to reschedule. I said the only day I have is Saturday. This Saturday. 2-4pm. She put me down. I doubt the internet will be much faster after this. What I dont get is this, they can get somebody at 90mbps and even if it does not reach it, it will stay up kind of high, but they cant get me at 10. Lets say the 90 speed stays at 70. Thats 70 and Im only asking for 10. Its not impossible, its a sales tool. They are crooked.
