Total lack of concern for the customer. Complete rip off


I (also. Seems many of us have done the same) called to lower my bills. I don't watch a lot of TV. I spend a lot of my time writing code. I have basic programming, no DVR service and 1(one) tv hooked up in our house. I have the 35Mbps internet service, which I do have to admit is somewhat consistent. However, I am paying $120 a month for this. Seems a little steep considering I have the basic everything. So I called to cancel TV. Turn out that if I un-bundle, I lose all kinds of discounts. My crappy 35mbps goes up to $78 a month. How pathetic.is that? Sad part is, they're all the same. Find a local company if you can. $78 for 35Mbps is shoddy.

You most likely dont have basic cable then. You have either their standard or premier package. I cannot tell you how many people call with that particular concern all the time. I admit that the prices are really high, but if you dont watch tv then just get internet and get something like netflix for your tv needs. You will save a ton of money.
